How it all started

This is Bombproof Bushcraft, the small company with the explosive name. Madison Poole began her love of being outdoors at an early age. She grew up in a small rural town in Northeast Ohio and it was part of life to be outside instead of in the house playing video games. Many of her days she would be with her friends running through the woods or the fields trying to figure out what trouble could be found and how to get into it.

We develop relationships with unique companies to create new products. We also leverage our relationship with these companies to provide already existing awesome gear at great prices.
As a person who loves being outdoors, I know the value of great gear, and how it can make being in the wilderness fun….or miserable. That’s why we strive to ensure everything we put on this site will meet or exceed your expectations and will be around for years to come.

About 2014 she started her journey into learning the art and science of being outside. Her mind was blown and her life’s path was forever changed when she started attending classes given at The Pathfinder School and The Appalachian Bushman School. She started attending gatherings, networking with people and constantly learning new skills.

In 2018 Bombproof Bushcraft was created as a Youtube Channel to pass along outdoor knowledge and doing funny skits to make sure people didn’t lose track of the reason for being outside. It is to have fun and enjoy the outdoors. 

After a few years of making videos she decided that Bombproof Bushcraft should be so much more than just a Youtube Channel. She Started Bombproof Bushcraft to provide great products to the outdoor community. Many of the products on this site come from companies her friends created. Products of folks that love the outdoors as much as you do and want to create a great product to help you enjoy being outside as well. 

Bombproof Bushcraft exists to get you out of the inside and into the outside!
